Here we look at a entity (e.g. particle, molecule, bacteria etc) that moves by diffusion.
Particle moves in one dimension (along the line) and starts at position x=0 visiting
x=+1,-1,+2,-2,... cites. We do not know which sites it is going to visit. Immediate
question: what can we say about such process? What can we predict? How much it will
take to reach x=10 for the first time? etc.
